Hunter Rock
Assistant Coach
Hunter joined the Augustana volleyball programs in summer of 2021. He finished up his playing career at Hiram College in 2021 where the team qualified for the NCAA tournament for the first time in program history and won the AMCC conference. Rock was a two time All-AMCC academic peak performer in his four seasons there. He appeared in 67 matchesa, tallying 293 kills and 81 blocks.
Rock began coaching girls volleyball at James A. Garfield high school in Northeast Ohio. There, they finished second in conference while seeing improvements in kills per set as well as blocks per set.
Hunter began coaching boys volleyball at Everest Volleyball Club in Twinsburg, Ohio where he served as an assistant coach on the 16's nationals teams. The squad took second place at Winterfest in Columbus, Ohio in his last season and competed at Junior Nationals in Kansas City.
Additionally, Rock coached high school boys volleyball for Stow-Munroe high school. He served as an assistant on this coaching staff that had a successful season making it to the regional finals where the team fell one game short of qualifying for state.

Zoran Grabovac
Assistant Coach
Zoran Grabovac started his volleyball career in Serbia, where he played for O.K. Vojvodina, one of the most distinguished clubs in Serbia. His team took second place at the national high school championships.
After moving to Des Moines, Iowa, in 1998, Grabovac played as a middle at Ball State from 2001-06. In 2002, Ball State advanced to the Final Four at Penn State before falling to Pepperdine in a semifinal match. Grabovac led the MIVA conference in hitting percentage, was selected to the All-Conference team, and held various season and individual game records throughout his collegiate career.
After earning a B.A. in International Business and an MBA, Grabovac has coached various clubs in Des Moines and the Quad Cities. He continued to play after college, competing on Open and AA Division teams that won a USA Volleyball Open Championship in 2009. The same year Grabovac was a first-team All-Tournament selection. He also transitioned to beach volleyball during the summer and played actively on the pro AVP tour.
Grabovac hopes to continue the great tradition of Ball State coaches who went on to coach at USC, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Kentucky, and many other universities nationwide.
Zoran and his wife, Leah, reside in Coal Valley, Illinois with their two children, Luka and Zander.
